The Beat Scene Lives

In the evolving Boston hip-hop scene, there lives a plethora of talented beatmakers and producers; we will highlight these artists in our shows with a live perfomance of their unique styles and approaches. LightWorks will cator to them and serve as a place where they will feel challenged to showcase their best work, but comfortable enough to improvise and experiment. Each LightWorks artist is handpicked for a cohesive and fulfilling concert experience, with the intent of bringing you the Light via sound.

#LightWorks

This first handpicked lineup is Uniquely special because it came together naturally and each of these artists share a common trait of engaging their music with unorthodox methods and experimental approaches; Everyone in this LightWorks crew has been inexplicably inspired by the work of the legendary James Dewitt Yancey a.k.a. J Dilla
